new saddle

I rode on one of these saddles when I demoed a Scott carbon addict. I liked it so much that on my way home, I stopped into the LBS and grabbed one of the Orange demo Airones to put on my bike. I Rode the orange demo saddle for two weeks. now I'm a convert, the Airone is soo comfortable in the drops. However if you don't at least somewhat identify with either being a "roadie", or a "racer" you are not likely to find this saddle comfortable.

I like the Airone for a number of reasons, first off its surprisingly light. Even though it doesn't have the look of an ultralight saddle. Also the reasonably soft seat (for a road saddle) would have you thinking it weighs more than it's claimed 166.0g. Aside from the weight the other main reason I'm a big fan of this saddle, is it makes it so comfortable ridding in the drops. This can mainly be attributed to; the saddle's Increased contact surface area: 12% more than standard saddles for better pressure distribution; and a Wider nose for increased comfort toward the front of the saddle. Of course more time spent ridding in the drops comfortably equals more speed. More speed is a good thing.

You like it, hands down # 1 reason, 'cause it's a 'K', admit it.

had the same one on my steel lemond. the LBS pushed it hard, i thought they got some incentive. i didn't like how long it was, it was just an odd looking seat - but i said 'sure' as long as they had the right color (cause i AM that guy). they were right. no 'break in period', just comfy in all positions. i still don't like the look - but you don't care as soon as you're riding. with the demo program - alot more will probably on them.

The arione seems nice, but their other saddles were ass hatchets for me so i stayed away.
I love the specialized toupe. But it only works with a good chamois.
