A few from the road

Big day today, drove from Zion National Park to Glenwood Springs Colorado. First we woke up and rode our bikes onto the park. Rode about 10 miles up the Canyon, and then hiked up to the emerald pools. After we were all done in the park it was time to hit the road. We then got down to the business of driving through southern Utah, which sort of resembles the moon. Drove for almost 300 miles without seeing any traces of civilization, or much life of any kind which the exception of bushes. Took about 380 photos on the way. It's been a long day, and I'm pretty short on time. Here's a few quick photo selections, I'll be posting more from today in the future.

...nice...looks like you guys are enjoying your road trip...

...even if you encounter "boring" parts of the drive, it's good to see the vastness of the country...allows you reflect on early methods of transportation...

...imagine doing it on horseback or conestoga wagon...even a hundred years ago in a very early car or the guy who rode a high wheeler across the country on rudimentary dirt roads...

...great scenery...
