Sunday Cycling

Proud father Patrick looks on as Luke enjoys his first day without training wheels.

Meanwhile farther north on Balboa Peninsula, a bicycle is the vehicle of choice for getting drunk on a Sunday after noon.

Just another day in Cailfornia.

...your concern is very admirable, doctor but rather than just harp on a certain indiscretion, let's not lose sight of the fact that those fotos are a document of what just may be the beginning of a beautiful & amazing lifelong relationship between man-child & one of the most awesome machines ever devised by mankind...

...just sayin'...

I never wore a helmet growing up. Neither did my father. Sure would be nice if we could just enjoy a picture of a guy riding a bike with his son without getting all preachy about what he's doing wrong. I mean, they're riding in a parking lot, his bike might hit running speed if he's lucky. Maybe we should take our kids at birth and throw them into an inflatable bubble until they are 18?
