Been in Massachusetts

After a fairly hectic travel day, I arrived in Boston Massachusetts.
When I go to my parents house, I found
my old street looking like this:
Which was nice because it felt quite festive. Unfortunately though I lacked any serious winter ridding gear and haven't been able to go for a ride in over a week.

I did however take a trip back up to
Boston and did some exploring.
There were of course messengers.

And old snow covered buildings

There were bikes in Cambridge, which
seemed to be delivering food.

And there were also bikes, that seemed
to not be doing anything at all.

While there I also visited Cambridge Bicycle

A shop which carries all manner of single speed bicycles
and also seems to be hoarding areospokes.

We quickly poped into a Chines food market, where I happened to notice a glaring health code violation.
Even though I haven't been able to ride my bike, I was lucky enough to score a sweet winter time surf session. And as this photo proves it impossible to look cool in a winter wetsuit.

My girlfriend and I also stumbled into a time warp somewhere in a suburb outside Boston and then went bowling. Good times, I've still got another week of vacation and there is some snowboarding in my near future. I might even post something next week. Until then happy new year!

haha, water temp was about 41-44 degrees and all of those pictures were MA with the exception of the airport. I never realized how much all you cold weather dwellers enjoy the photos of sunny warm California. And I hate to disappoint ya, but next week will likely bring some photos of even colder New Hampshire, before I head back to the sunshine state.

Sweet photos, every year I tell myself I'm going to buy some of those MTB tires with studs on them. But every year I cheapen out.

Oh well, keep riding, keep falling. As long as I'm riding I'm OK.
