Know your farmer

erik_kowalski_IMG_3160.jpg
Took my weekly trip out to my friends organic farm in Dartmouth on Earthday last week.  I buy fresh eggs, milk, and meat.  The northeast growing season is short, but vegetables are just around the corner.  I thought this Kale looked tasty (a commenter has pointed out that " that's rhubarb, not kale. Rhubarb leaves are toxic." )  Also their bacon is unbelievable, and those eggs aren't painted they came that way.  The way Easter eggs are supposed to be courtesy of Round the Bend Farm.

Right on Erik K. We grow our own tomatoes but buy other fresh produce in the summer from a co-op market from Amish gardens in the area.

ya, it's amazing how much Industrial farming has ruined the food we get at the grocery store.
