HDR my way

If you Google HDR you'll see an abundance of crap images, so intialy I thought all HDR was crap but it can be used for good. It's great for landscape shots where you want the foreground and sky to both have proper exposure, which was what I was experimenting with in this image.

Drive through: Bristol & Warren RI

Bonnie and I took a trip through Bristol and Warren Rhode island this past weekend.  We had no plans other than to check the place out and have a good time.  We stopped in Warren at the Coffee Depot which had good coffee and great atmosphere.  Further down the street there are an is an art gallery, an old school pharmacy, and In Your Ear Record shop (formerly located on Thayer st. in Providence).  In Your Ear is basically a record store where none of the music on their shelves sucks.  It may not be all stuff I'm into or my taste but it's all worthy.  We headed to Bristol afterwards to get some pizza for dinner down by the docks and watched the sunset in Colt state park.  Bristol - Warren also features a great bike path and some nice ridding through Colt state park.  It's definitely worth a trip down on a sunny weekend for a leisurely stroll around town.
