I dropped by Coastal Cycles, (the shop I posted about a few weeks back) today to pick up my road bike. While there I spotted this custom built Salsa, which looks pretty tasty. I'm generally a Campy fan, but I have to say Shimano has really stepped it up with Ultegra 6700. The ergonimcs are better, the looks are better, and it now has internal cable routing which is one of the things I always liked about Campy. As an owner of several way too nice bikes, it referesing to see a solid well thought out build like this, that's not over the top. It's the kinda bike I would want to put fenders on and ride through the winter, if it were like 5 sizes smaller of course.
