Found myself at the Fryeburg fair in Main this weekend. Founded in 1850, its a big old fair, lots of food, rides. It's a testament to doing things the old school way, small family farms and a relationship with the land and animals. If you ever go, you must try the blooming onion, the fried dough balls, and the kettle corn.
